12-02-16 Laniakea Beach Park / Waiamea Valley

Richard's friend Andy is visiting this week.  Andy is a professional photographer so guess what I get to do while he's here...  Today we headed up to the North Shore because there were reports that the surf would be up due to a large incoming swell.  We got as far as Laniakea Beach Park and got side tracked when we found not only a monk seal but a turtle and a chicken with her baby chicks as well.

Andy wanted to visit Waimea Valley so we skipped going to Waimea Beach and went to into the valley instead.
