13-01-06 OPMUG Hickam Flats Sunset

Hickam Flats is to sunsets what Kaneohe Bay is to sunrises.  When the conditions are right it's spectacular.  This past Sunday we would see a very low tide that potentially would give us an opportunity to get some great shots...if the weather cooperated.

As you can see the tide was way out.

This is a 30 frame panorama of the flats.

It was overcast but the sun was trying.

The mangroves make for nice foreground.

Wide open aperture.

It's trying.

Just too many clouds.

Of course after we packed it up and returned to the beach...

Through the Keiwe or Mesquite trees.
