It's been a while since I've shot the sunset from Nimitz Beach, so when Brandon called and asked me to join him I jumped at the opportunity.
The day may have been a bit too nice. No real drama in the skies.
The oil tankers off load their cargo at an offshore pumping station.
Brandon found a new log, although it looks an awful lot like the old log to me.
The tide was rising so we had to be careful.
My not so good attempt at a handheld panorama. Notice the center is out of focus.
The light filtering through the grass was fascinating to me.
Before we left, Brandon and I carted the log back up the bank and hid it in the grass.
