As if getting up early, for sunrise, wasn't enough...I went on a 5+ mile hike with OPMUG to photograph the setting sun at Ka'ena Point. It was an enjoyable hike with great company to keep the mind off of the amount of walking I was doing.
As usual we ended up being spread out, like an accordion, over a long distance as people stopped to take pictures then caught up when the groups in front stopped for the same reason. Eventually we all made it to the point and were delighted to find 3 monk seals frolicking in one of the pools.
