12-06-02 OPMUG Kaneohe Bay Sunrise

One of my favorite places to shoot is Kaneohe Bay for sunrise.  When the conditions are right it's spectacular.  This past Saturday two of the three things needed fell into place, the tide would be low and the sun would rise off the right side of the bay.  So OPMUG planned on taking pictures hoping the weather would cooperate...it didn't.  The morning began wet and windy, but the rains died down.  Unfortunately the wind didn't and the rain left a cloud bank on the horizon.

When we first arrived I took this panorama of the bay.

These boats are a large part of why we like this location.

Can't see the sun but we did get some color.

I messed around a bit with selective color and a huge boost in saturation and vibrancy.
