Don was kind enough to give me a lift to the event, but he wanted to go an hour early to hear and take pictures of the weekly concert, put on by the Royal Hawaiian Band, at Kapiolani Park Bandstand. Unfortunately my 35mm wasn't enough lens to capture any real good shot of the band, singers or dancer. Just too far away.
The slackliners have been extremely cooperative with us. They pose and let us know or repeat moves so we are able to get a decent shot of them in action.
