We were very fortunate today, Yvonne's friend Gintare wanted some photographs of herself so she volunteered to be our model. Gintare is a very attractive woman from Lithuania currently living and working in Hawaii. Although she was a bit nervous at having so many photographers taking pictures of her, she proved to be quite a natural at modeling and took direction pretty well (once we got it down to only one photographer telling her what to do).
Initially we went to Sandy Beach to take pictures of the rising sun and the some long exposures of the waves crashing over the rocks and the receding water. But once again the sunrise proved to be quick with very little color in the sky. Therefore we spent most of the early morning hours taking pictures of the waves and the ocean.
