11-01-20 Ehukai/Pipeline/Sunset/Turtle Bay Resort/Laie

Richard, Kitty & I headed up to the North Shore for Waiamea Bay early this morning.  Yes that is the moon still in the sky.

The plan was to watch the "Eddie Aikau" surf meet.  It's only held when wave heights hit 30 feet or more.  Things looked real good till this morning when the anticipated "big" waves never materialized.  So the surf meet was canceled and we went driving down the windward coast taking pictures.  First up was Ehukai Beach Park and next door Pipeline.

We moved down to Sunset Beach where we were  lucky enough to run into Valerie.  She was kind enough to let us photograph her body art.  I really can't thank her enough for being so cooporative.

There were no surfers to be seen at any of the beaches so we moved on down to the Turtle Bay Resort & Spa.

Kitty & Richard spotted this little guy trying to crawl into a hole in the sand and hide.  We decided to harass him by taking pictures.

We went into the lobby of the resort to walk through to the public parking lot.  These guys were guarding the steps.

The last stop we made was at Laie Point.
