10-12-08 Richard's Garage/Tantalus (Round Top Drive) Sunset

This evening Richard and I attended a seminar by the University of Hawaii's Institute for Astronomy's Friends.  The topic of discussion was "The Physics of Santa Clause" or "Does Santa Clause Violate Einstein's Theory of Relativity?"

While waiting in Richard's garage for him to come down.  I couldn't help but notice the interesting lines produced by the facade.

Before heading up to the University we caught the sunset from Tantalus.  There was a lot of VOG in the air so we were hoping for a spectacular sunset...didn't pan out.
