Don, Frank, Minh and I braved the potentially rainy day to hike to Hamama Falls in Kaneohe.  Several people had told us the hike was relatively easy because it involved walking on a gravel road to the falls.
There are three hills to ascend to gain elevation to the falls.  Each hill is a steeper grade and longer than the one before.  But all things said it is an easy hike compared to some I've mistakenly been on.
Imagine my surprise when I realized I had carried my tripod the whole distance for naught.   I left the quick release plate firmly attached to the bottom of my Olympus 500...unfortunately, today I was shooting my Nikon D90.   So all my shots are hand held...slightly out of focus.
