12-10-24 IWSSB Secret Beach Sunset

A small group of us braved the threatening weather and overcast skies to shoot the sunset at Secret Beach.  While we did not see the setting sun, we did get some pretty nice color.

The sand dune behind the beach is pretty interesting.

This should give you a pretty good idea as to how much sandy beach there is...not much.

This natural (lava?) breakwater made a pretty interesting place to shoot from.

I pushed this, but this is the color we saw at sunset.

They moved... :-(

I was fooling around in post processing and this is the result.

Using a small keychain LED flashlight, I was able to light this up without losing the sunset behind.

They were practicing "touch and goes" at Kalaeloa Coast Guard Air Station.
