12-10-28 OPMUG EOH Kaneohe Bay Sunset Moonrise

A combined group from OPMUG and EOH went to Kaneohe Bay this evening to take pictures of the sunset and moonrise.   From mid afternoon the skies began to threaten rain, but I took a chance and went despite my misgivings.  When I arrived the weather cleared up and it looked like the shoot would work out well the horizon was clearing and there was blue sky overhead although the mountains continues to threaten rain.  In the end the rain and clouds won, but here's what I got any way.

When I arrived I ran into a diver coming out of the water, here's his catch.

Looking back towards Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station.

Our intrepid group.

Waiting for the moonrise.

At least we got to know one another better.

 Another part of our group.

The Sargasso Seas...

All lined up and nowhere to go.  :-(

"MOVE IT!"

We got a little color.

Old man and the sea?

Thanks, we did have a pretty good time, although the weather wasn't very cooperative.
