10-08-23 Pacific Air Museum

Richard called me this afternoon and asked if I wanted to visit the Pacific Air Museum with James and him.

We had some time to kill before the bus to Ford Island came, so we checked out what we could at the USS Bowfin exhibit.

This golf ball is the Xband radar.  It's supposed to be stationed in the northern Pacific near the Aleutian Islands.

That's the USS Missouri on the left and the Arizona Memorial on the right.

This is the business end of a torpedo.

This is the conning tower of a WWII submarine.
