10-08-29 Liliha Fair, Greek Festival & Driving

Went out to shoot pictures today with Richard.  First we went to see the grave of Alexander Cartwright Jr.  He was enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1938 and is acknowledged as the father of modern baseball.  People visit his grave and leave baseballs and other things as a remembrance.

There were Cherubs were all over the graveyard.  I liked this particular one.

Then Richard and I visited the Liliha Fair.  Small but cute.

I got a kick out of these Hula Dancers.  They really enjoyed performing for the audience.

This firetruck ride was very popular.  It was full every time I saw it.

This guy was lucky, there was a family fishing and they were feeding him their catch.

The Greek Festival was held at McCoy Pavilion in Ala Moana Park.  There were a lot of food booths, some merchandise booths and a live band with audience members getting up to dance.

Lastly we drove around the southern part of the island to kill time.
